Moi Moi

Beans can be eaten in different ways today the main focus will be Moi Moi or as its called  bean pudding by some people. Come along with me as i show you how this is made.
Firstly, wash your beans
The Next step is putting all ingredients together, onions, fresh peppers, sometimes bell peppers, seasoning, salt, palm oil or vegetable oil, cray fish, eggs, fish or anything that you want to put in the moi moi. Wash the bell peppers and onion, blend it together with the beans along side crayfish.
When it is blended it should be very soft and smooth, then add salt, dried pepper (optional), palm oil and seasoning. Mix ingredients well with the mixture.
There are different ways of cooking it, for some they use white leather, others green
leaf (ewe eran, leaves), or cans of milk (peak milk) is used, others foil like i did.
Then add the eggs, fish and any other thing you want to add to the moi moi as seen in the picture bellow.
For other they fill the pot with water this allows the moi moi to steam and cook, the same is done for the leaves but today i will be baking my moi moi.
I placed the moi moi in the oven and set it at 60 I left it there to cook depending on the mixture, i like mine a little bit thick others like theirs watery, that will determine how long it stays in the pot or oven. as seen bellow the moi moi is ready and out of the oven.

When it is out of the oven you allow it to cool a little and serve.
Some people eat moi moi with rice, alone, or with pap depending on what you want. enjoy!!!
Have a lovely day guys.
